Here is a brief snapshot of some of our cats show successes in Ireland and abroad. We are proud to have three GCCFI Supreme Best in Show Winners and two TICA Regional Winners:
Sup HibGrPr Ishcus Casper the Friendly Ghost won GCCFI Supreme Best in Show Neuter in 2018 (among other Best in Variety and Best in Show wins).
Sup IB Hib Gr Pr and TICA RW SGCA Silverfern French Kiss (Kismet) won GCCFI Supreme Best in Show Neuter in 2022 and Overall Best in Show at the Cork Cat Club Show 2022, as well as Overall Best in Show at the SABCCI/GCCFI show in Dublin in 2022, Overall Best in Show at the Midland/GCCFI show in February 2023 and Overall Best in Show at the Cork Cat Club Show 2023. He also won Overall Best in Show at the SABCCI Show in Dublin in 2024. Kismet also won several GCCFI Best in Variety awards, as well as a TICA Regional Award finishing as 8th best Allbreed cat and Best Maine Coon in Western Europe, as well as 11th Best Maine Coon Alter Worldwide.
Likewise, our beautiful RW TGC Ishcus Quevega won a TICA Regional Award finishing 7th best Allbreed kitten and Best Maine Coon kitten in Western Europe. At her last TICA show in Dec 2021 she finished as second best Allbreed cat and best Maine Coon. At the 2023 Northern Ireland Cat Club show she won Overall Best in Variety SLH and at the 2023 SABCCI/GCCFI show in Dublin Overall Best in Show! She also won OVERALL SUPREME BEST IN SHOW in Dublin 2023 and OVERALL BEST IN SHOW at the GCCFI Show in Thurles 2024. At the Erin Show in Larne 2024 she won Overall Best in Variety and placed among the top 3 cats of the show.
Tara Hib Gr Ch Ishcus Franklin D has been consistently doing well at shows, winning up to Best in Variety and the high award of Tara Hibernian Grand Champion.
GR Ch & Int Ch Unicum Tesla gained her Champion title at her first ever show after Covid restrictions were lifted and made it to TICA Best Blue Classic Torbie/White Maine Coon in Western Europe and Worldwide. She won Best in Variety Adult at the GCCFI Thurles show in 2024 and is currently a Grand Champion & International Champion.
Tesla’s daughter CH FriendlyGhost Chaiyya Chaiyya won Best in Variety Kitten at her first outing at the tender age of just 3.5 months. She also won Best in Variety Adult at first show as an adult at just 10 months old.
Her brother FriendlyGhost Cassini won Reserve Best in Show at the young age of just 6 month at the GCCF Ulster Siamese & AllBreed Cat Club in November 2022.
FriendlyGhost Elsa the Lioness won Best in Variety Kitten at her first three shows in Northern Ireland, Erin and Dublin 2023 and Best in Variety Adult at the Cork Cat Club Show at just 9 months of age.
